SHE – Seven Habits of Excellence - 7 Habits of Super-Performers

In the present scenario, rapid technological advances, health challenges, and environmental concerns demand a change in our habits. Embracing healthier lifestyles, digital discipline, and sustainable choices is crucial. Adaptability ensures personal growth, mental well-being, and societal harmony. Changing habits today shapes a better, resilient, and more responsible tomorrow for everyone.

1. MUTE – Maximizing Utility of Time & Energy (Plan, Work, Workout, Relax)

Time, Energy, & Money are the three key resources. They are interconnected. Using the resources called Time and Energy, we can increase Money. Where the focus goes, energy follows. Focus optimizes the use of time.

Proper planning, focused work with micro-breaks, and daily exercises can increase your ability to use Time and Energy effectively to increase your income.

2. UPS – Updating Proper Skills (learn, implement, & challenge yourself)

We must have a list of skills to improve to reach the top position in our career. For that, we must write down the answer to one simple question: ‘Where will I be after five years?" Then we will know the list of skills required to reach that position.

3. EV – Envision through எண்Vision (Analytics and Big Data)

“எண்Vision” means seeing the numbers clearly. Contemporary leaders must love numbers because numbers (data) are the most sophisticated method of storing and retrieving the past. If you have the ability to understand the relationship among the data, you can predict the future. If you can predict the future, you are the GOAT (greatest of all times).

4. STOP – Screen Time OPurpose

One of the sins of modern humans is unlimited access to the internet. Mobile phones, or smart phones, were invented to save time. Unfortunately, it works otherwise. Set a limit on screen time. You may have a lot of time to do something productive.

5. FIT – Fitness ITotal (mind, body, network, & wealth)

Fitness in total is true fitness. There are four important aspects of fitness. 1. Mind: positive, assertive, and persistent. 2. Body: fit enough to complete your daily tasks with a higher level of energy. 3. Network—with complimenting, collaborative people who can create easy access to people and opportunities. 4. Wealth is the accumulation of the difference between your income and expenditure. One must have enough wealth at age 50 so that he or she is no longer required to work for basic necessities. It means that after age 50, no one should go for work on compulsion.

6. FOOT – Focus OOne Thing

Humans cannot multi-task. We are very good at focused action and very weak at multi-tasking. Focusing on one thing is called optimizing. We can achieve greater things in our lives if we practice FOOT.

7. APP – Appreciate and Practice Politeness

No one wants to stay with an arrogant person. Everyone likes appreciation. If we develop the habit of appreciating and being polite, we become human magnets to attract the right people.
